Add E3 expense classification to your invoicing or accounting software
The Taktiko engine proposes the category and E3 code for each line of a received invoice, explains why, and only sends to myDATA after a person approves. It is available to license or to acquire, with its source code.
What the engine does
- Reads received invoices from myDATA (read-only, also as an accountant acting for clients, with entityVatNumber).
- Proposes the category and E3 code for each line, with a short reason in Greek and English.
- Sends approved classifications back with SendExpensesClassification, and their corrections too.
How it decides
Rules first, AI second
A classification a person approves three times for a supplier becomes a rule. Next comes the same classification from another invoice of that supplier, and only then the AI model.
Only valid answers
Each request carries the category and E3 combinations AADE accepts for that invoice type. Any other answer gets confidence 0 and goes to manual review.
Tax guardrails
The non-deductible VAT cases of article 30 of the Greek VAT Code (meals, hospitality, passenger cars, fuel, tolls), fixed asset or expense, and the client’s line of business.
Two confidences
One for the category and one for the E3 code, and the lower one decides. AI output is capped at 96%, so only rules learned from people reach automatic approval.
What is included
- myDATA REST client (TypeScript): RequestDocs and RequestTransmittedDocs with paging and retries, and SendExpensesClassification with the rules AADE enforces but the XSD does not document.
- The official category and E3 code tables (myDATA API v2.0.2).
- The classifier, independent of the AI provider: Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude.
- An evaluation harness and test sets, to measure every model or prompt change.
- Optionally, the full web app, the domain and the Greek content.
Where it stands today
- It works end to end and has been tested against AADE’s test environment.
- It has no paying customers yet.
- Accuracy has been measured on a synthetic test set and has not yet been validated on real customer data. That is why we suggest trying it on your own invoices first.

Is it tied to one AI provider?
No. It runs on Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude, switched with one setting, and the evaluation harness compares them.
